TPRS
is the Fast, Fun, Easy way to learn Spanish. In the Total Physical Response Storytelling (TPRS) or the Teaching Profieciency through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS) method of foreign language instruction, you learn the same way you learned to speak your first language, by listening, then repeating. Frequent practice hearing and pronouncing basic words and phrases build familiarity and proficiency. New vocabulary is introduced slowly. During class, I use many Spanish words that have similar sounds and meanings to their English equivalent. By adding pictures and gestures, you understand the meaning. Students subconsciously incorporate the grammatical rules and sentence structures easily through repetition.
